About Nigel Dessau

 

As CEO of Bravas, a home technology integration company, Nigel Dessau drives the company’s vision to be recognized nationwide as the lifetime solutions partner for the ever-changing world of essential technologies for luxury homes.

A professional marketer and author, Nigel’s 30-plus year career has focused on technology for business and consumers. He has worked at almost every level of marketing in both emerging and established companies. Before joining Bravas, Nigel was the President of a healthcare startup focused on reducing the impact of diabetes. 

At Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), he was Chief Marketing Officer, managing the global brand presence. Before that, he was SVP, Storage Marketing, and Business Operations at Sun Microsystems and StorageTek. He started his career working for IBM in the U.K. and the U.S. 

Invigorated by mentorship, he created “The 3 Minute Mentor,” a digital program providing free, easy-to-follow career guidance in simple three-minute videos. The website has thousands of subscribers worldwide and inspired his book, “Become a 21st Century Executive – Breaking away from the Pack.”

Nigel was born in Nottingham, England, and lives with his wife in Austin, Texas.
